Earthquake Care and Recovery

Hope for Kidz

After the earthquake last August, many people southern Haiti have yet to return a place of normalcy. Dawn and I have had the opportunity to go out and witness the loss of many as we visited sister churches and schools affiliated with Hope for Kidz.  If you want to join us, and RMI, in helping families and churches start the slow journey of helping mend the broken structures, communities, and families you can go to: rmibridge.org and select the Earthquake Care and Recovery Fund link.

Each of these locations have been receiving necessary help. However, RMI is not entirely finished helping these communities fully repair/replace what they have lost.  That is especially the case for the communities closest to the epicenter of the earthquake.

Since we are out shooting video, taking pictures, help deliver Manna Packs, and meeting with pastors on a regular basis, we have had the opportunity to see the life-changing impact RMI's Hope for Kidz program has within the schools we visit. Each time a person, or family, signs up to sponsor a child, they will receive a hot meal each day at school, have their tuition payed for, and they will receive essential school supplies.
